What is 30 luger?

The 30 Luger is a semi-automatic pistol cartridge, also known as the 7.65x21mm Parabellum, developed by Georg Luger in 1898 for the C96 Mauser pistol. It was later chambered in other pistols, such as the Luger P08 and the Mauser M1896.

The 30 Luger cartridge has a bullet diameter of 7.85mm and a case length of 21mm. It has a muzzle velocity of around 1,030 feet per second and a muzzle energy of approximately 285 foot-pounds.

The 30 Luger cartridge was popular in Europe in the early 20th century but has since been largely replaced by more powerful cartridges such as the 9mm Luger. It is still used by some shooters for target shooting and collecting vintage firearms.
